The Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame, founded by the Consumer Electronics Association, CEA, honors the leaders whose creativity, persistence, determination and sheer personal charisma helped to shape an industry and made the consumer electronics marketplace what it's today. The Consumer Electronics Association announced the first 50 inductees into its Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame at the 2000 International Consumer Electronics Show.
